Q: What drove you to start book blogging in the first place?

 That is a long and sordid tale! I read a lot of book blogs, but I had to start blogging in a lot of my graduate school classes and the blogging was about the outside reading for the classes.  I found that I liked the reflection time the blogging gave me about what I was reading.  After several semesters, I decided that I wanted to start blogging about my personal reading.  At first, I was just going to make a blog about books plus my reflections about my day-to-day life, but eventually, books took over. ::shrugs::  I guess when your only hobby is reading and otherwise you act as a house servant and short-order cook to 2 kids, there's not much else to write about. : )

So, graduate school once again had a profound impact on my personal life! (inserts finger pointing lecture here about the value of education)
